MAXON CINEBENCH

If you wish to evaluate your computer's performance, MAXON CINEBENCH will help you do it without any effort. The software is capable of carrying out different tests, on a computer's CPU and GPU, after which it will let you know where your computer stands in regards to performance. The tests are fairly quick and the end results are easy to understand.

MAXON CINEBENCH is offered free of charge, for Windows and Mac OS X. What's more, the software doesn't need to be installed. Its components are distributed in a ZIP archive, so you only need to extract them and run the program's executable. It is compatible with both 32 and 64-bit operating systems and it doesn't have any special requirements.

Once the software is up and running, you can decide to perform a benchmark test on your CPU or on your graphics card. All you have to do is click the corresponding buttons, located in a column, on the left side of the user interface and the program will start testing right away.

When testing the CPU, the program will render a photo-realistic 3D image bit by bit. The graphics card test is performed through OpenGL, by playing a 3D animation of a car chase. All you have to do is enjoy the animation and let the software measure the performance of the CPU or GPU.

Once you complete a test, you will find the results in the lower left area portion of the user interface. Your results are highlighted among other results, from higher and lower-performance computers, that were tested with MAXON CINEBENCH, to give you a clearer picture on your machine's performance.
